If anyone is still checking this blog, I'm sorry. I think I'll be taking a hiatus for quite a while. We've decided that we are doing ok with the non-wired life, so we probably won't have Internet access for quite a while (I'm sitting in my neighbor's driveway pilforing their connection to post this ; ). We won't have many spare moments for the next few months anyway, so why add another bill? I'll shoot for September, but we'll see.
'Til then, use your guts and your brain and CONSERVE! Oh, and consider resource use policies/awarness in selecting your presidential candidate please.

so why should we care?
A Little Effort...
Ok, maybe this one is a lot of effort, and perhaps it doesn't make as large an impact as some other things, but... I'm using my old Christmas cards to make new ones this year (don't feel bad if you didn't get one, they're actually really just belated thank you cards for the people who helped us move. Our real annual update actually comes in the form of an e-Tine on Valentine's... saves money, time, and one more thing to do during the hectic year-end holiday season. With twins on the way at that time this year though, we might be adapting - stay tuned). But I digress... anyway, do something this year - no matter how small - to reduce your holiday resource impact.
